Hebburn Helps

A grassroots community food bank and crisis response team supporting local families in need across Hebburn.

About Hebburn Helps

Hebburn Helps is a grassroots community organisation and food bank based in St John's Precinct at the Mountbatten Shopping Centre, set up to support local families who are struggling to make ends meet. Run largely by volunteers as a crisis response team, it provides emergency food parcels alongside clothing for adults and children, baby equipment, toys and household essentials, stepping in wherever local people find themselves in genuine hardship. Over the years it has grown into one of the town's most visible community institutions, responding to a wide range of needs and coordinating support during difficult times. Funded by donations and local goodwill, Hebburn Helps embodies the town's strong community spirit and is a lifeline for many households across Hebburn and the surrounding area.
