About Clegwell & Hartleyburn Community Hub
The Clegwell & Hartleyburn Community Hub runs a pair of community centres in Hebburn, the purpose-built Clegwell Community Centre and the Hartleyburn Community Centre, both long-standing fixtures of their neighbourhoods. The hub provides a base for local activities, groups and events, offering space for everything from exercise and craft sessions to children's and older people's groups, as well as rooms available to hire for parties and meetings. Run for and by the community, it plays an important role in bringing residents together and supporting local wellbeing in the Clegwell and Hartleyburn areas of the town. As a genuinely grassroots organisation, it reflects Hebburn's strong tradition of community self-help and remains a valued gathering point for the surrounding estates.
