About Hebburn Town FC

Hebburn Town Football Club, nicknamed The Hornets, is the town's semi-professional football club, playing its home matches at the ground on South Drive long known as the Hebburn Sports Ground and renamed the Trustmark Group Stadium under a naming-rights deal in August 2025. Long a fixture of North East non-league football, the club has enjoyed a remarkable rise through the pyramid in recent seasons, including a memorable FA Vase triumph at Wembley in 2020, and has climbed to the National League North, one of the highest levels the club has reached in its history. The ground has been steadily improved to meet the demands of higher-level football, and the club draws committed local support on match days. Backed by local businesses including HTG's Kevin Howell, Hebburn Town is a genuine community club with junior and reserve sides as well as its first team, and it remains one of the town's best-known institutions and a proud focal point for Hebburn.
