About St Aloysius Catholic Infant School

St Aloysius Catholic Infant School is a Roman Catholic infant school and nursery on Argyle Street in Hebburn, educating children aged 3 to 7. Part of the Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust and federated with the adjoining St Aloysius Catholic Junior School, it gives children their earliest years of school before they move up to the juniors, serving Catholic families across Hebburn within the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle. With its own nursery provision, it offers a faith-based start to school life for the youngest children in the parish. As a faith school it manages admissions within the coordinated South Tyneside scheme, with faith and distance among the criteria, so families should read its admissions policy and apply through South Tyneside Council by the published deadlines. Its most recent Ofsted report is available on the Ofsted reports register at gov.uk.
